Business Development Manager (South India)

The chosen candidate for this role will expand Open Door’s presence in South India: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala. The candidate will be solely responsible for all stages of sales: from contacting a school decision maker to fixing a meeting to negotiating and closing the deal with the school.

Requirements:

- Should want to make a change to the school system
- Good at convincing, great communication
- Open to travel (on an average 3 days/week outside base city)

The day to day tasks will include –

a. Researching best schools and decision makers in the given geographical area
b. Calling/Emailing the decision maker to fix a meeting
c. Making cold visits to fix a meeting
d. Present Open Door’s work to school’s director, principal and teachers
e. Follow up and negotiate to close the deal
f. Maintaining work in Open Door’s database/CRM
g. The candidate also assist Open Door in attending conferences, exhibitions, etc.
